At Otterbourne Grange, exceptional food is a hallmark of daily life. Known for our reputation for fine dining, it’s not uncommon for the irresistible aroma of a freshly prepared meal to tempt visiting family and friends to join us at the table.

Our talented Head Chef and his dedicated team take immense pride in serving authentic, home-cooked meals with absolutely nothing pre-cooked or processed. Every dish is lovingly prepared on-site each day, using the finest locally sourced, fresh produce.

We partner with trusted independent suppliers for our fish, meat, poultry, and dairy, giving our Chef complete confidence in the quality and provenance of every ingredient.

Menus are thoughtfully planned each quarter, ensuring each meal not only offers residents a balanced and nutritious diet, but also delivers on flavour, presentation, and enjoyment. We take great care to accommodate all special dietary requirements, including tailored meals for residents with diabetes or those needing soft or pureed textures.

In keeping with the traditions of our elegant Victorian Manor House, you won’t find cake mixes or mass-produced desserts here. All of our indulgent confectionery is baked fresh on-site daily, using real butter, full cream, and those extra-special ingredients our residents deserve. Even our yoghurt, mousses, trifles, and other tempting desserts are lovingly handmade providing the perfect sweet finish to every meal.

Our head chef also lovingly prepares homemade cakes to celebrate our residents’ birthdays. Don’t they look lovely!
